During this unprecedented moment in time, our team at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort has made the difficult choice to temporarily suspend operations amid the COVID-19 (coronavirus) global health crisis.
At this time, the resort continues to accept reservations for overnight stays beginning on May 1, 2020. Our reservations team will be contacting guests with existing reservations beyond March 23 to rebook or cancel. Guests who booked directly through the resort will receive a full refund for any stays over impacted dates. Guests who booked via online travel agents (Expedia, Travelocity, Booking.com, for example) or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. We understand the frustration and disappointment that comes with it. While we have no reported COVID-19 cases at the resort, we believe this is in the best interest of our guests, team members, and the global community. We are actively monitoring COVID-19 updates from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and will evolve our practices in accordance to the guidance provided by government officials and public health professionals. We will plan to resume our offerings as soon as it is safe to do so.
